Our Classes and Prices

Ladies-Only Kickboxing / Muay Thai (age 12+),
Mondays 19:30 to 20:30 & Wednesdays 17:15 to 18:45

This class is intended to teach women striking so that it can be effective in real self-defence situations. Each class will also be taught at a high pace.
The ladies-only environment will mean it is not intimidating for those wanting to learn and have never attempted martial arts before.
There will be an array of experience levels; beginners through to those that have done it for several years.
Our female instructor is highly experienced in both Kickboxing and Muay Thai.
Students will learn to punch and kick as well as be able to use knees and elbows as these are more effective in close combat against an opponent.
The class will help instil striking ability, self-confidence and greater levels of fitness.

Adult Brazilian Jiu Jitsu – mixed ability (age 16+)
Monday, Wednesday & Fridays 19:30 to 20:30

We believe mat time is important, which is why we incorporate a large proportion of class time to rolling (ie sparring) as this is how you get better!
Students not only learn the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, but they will work on general strength, fitness and mobility, all important factors in maintaining a healthy body.
Classes will focus on self-defence aspects as well as sports BJJ – everything a student needs to become a well rounded Blue Belt.
Plenty of time will be dedicated to practice and controlled sparring – we want all students to leave feeling good about themselves.

Monday and Wednesday classes are taught in the traditional uniform called a gi/kimono. Fridays is a no-gi class where participants wear rashguard, spats and grappling shorts.

Teens / Juveniles Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (11+, secondary school age)
Saturdays 09:00 to 10:00

These students are effectively young adults. They are expected to display maturity, discipline and a willingness to learn. They will learn more complex techniques and take part in a greater degree of sparring in order to build their confidence in martial arts and the world around them.

Juniors Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (ages 8 to 11)
Saturdays 10:00 to 11:00

For our juniors we expect them to start showing maturity and discipline with the techniques they will now learn. We want them to grow into responsible adults and use what they learn to benefit themselves and the community around them.

Pee Wee Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (ages 5 to 7) – Boys and Girls
Saturdays 11:00 to 12:00

With the youngest of our students we focus on the most basic of techniques for defence and escape. With a focus on body movement and fun and games. We want BJJ to be a lifelong passion for our students.
